Two observations - or lack of observation. Why don't the CCC, League One and League Two half-times come up? When we have guests (usually ex-players) and/or presentations on the pitch, why don't they get screened onto the Big Screen? |

Not sure why you’re asking us these questions, perhaps you should be asking those who make the decisions in relation to the big screen? You’d been better off saying, should we have........ |

They also need to make the text bigger...in the tilton it's very hard to see the line up before the match |

Could do - although I don't need any tips on how to write my email. Before I do I could add other things such as the text size already mentioned. Also folk on here might know why we don't do things. Perhaps Grumpy could compile and contact Sarah - they speak every day, don't they? |

No i meant you should be saying "Should we have........ " on here not in an email  This is a forum, you could poll ideas and send to the club. You made the mistake of asking us why this and that didn't happen :) |

This question was asked on this Forum just before the Big Screen was installed. In fact we were asked to provide suggestions for the Pre-Match and Half Time screenings..... The Mods or Admin will probably provide a link to that Thread and suggest where those who are slow at reading can submit their late entries.... Maybe it's due to the size of the text on this Forum.... :break: |

I thkn your right though mate, there's plenty more that can be done to improve the big screen. text size is one of them. It's definatly good, but could be better. |

Well that depends on whether or not the suggestions were acceptable! For instance, I am aware that the guy responsible for activities with the Big Screen and who actually asked the question at the time has developed a very strange walk.... I think he 's just grateful that they limited the size of the text  |

Regarding the points raised here are the answers from the club Half-time scores - We would struggle to do more half-times than the Premier League as we are currently using a very standard graphics software and there’s just not enough time as everything that goes into the screen is a two man operation. I have to input the scores as well as trying to display things at half-time while my colleague is busy putting the first-half highlights together. A new graphics software is being proposed for next season though and will hopefully enable us to do much more. Legends at half-time - Our live feed is taken directly from the OB truck outside, so we have absolutely no control over what they film and they never show the half-time guests unfortunately. A live camera pitch side is being looked into for next season though. Text size - Text size is something we’ve been desperately trying to work on since the start of the season. At the start of the season it was too small but we’re constantly trying to tweak it by sitting in the Tilton and trying to read teamsheets, adverts and scores. At the moment I don’t think we can go any higher or the player names wouldn’t fit onto the screen. Maybe it’s the size of the screen and its distance from the Tilton or possibly a case of perhaps sacrificing surface over substance on our part. Either way we’ll keep trying to make it clearer. |

**thumbup thanks for the comprehensive and speedy response. As an observation, it looks as though the Trotters did some excellent cost-cutting with software and pitch-side cameras. :banghead: Anyway they've gone now. Keep up the great work Admin and let's hope the upgrades and cameras are here for next season. |

Seems as though the installation and quality of the big screen was done very much on the cheap!! |

I don't get it if you can't read the teams at 2.30pm or whatever - the announcer announces them at 2.55pm and there are large, blown up faces of the players with names and numbers...so what more do you need?? lol |

I remember hearing off a referee it was something to do with them not wanting them to see replays which could cloud the judgment on further decisions later in the match i.e trying to even things up after a bad decision for 1 team. If you know that this isnt the case no more il take your word for it, and technicaly doubt there would be any problem as they could just pick up on the feed from BBC or SKY. |

They pick up the feed from Sky/Beeb - just as the boxes do. I am sure Spurs are one of the clubs that screen live. The ones that do screen the game live do not show any contentious replays - just the goals and near misses. |
